I want to request a purchase of a book.
Answer
Suggesting a purchase is a good way to help the library collection staff know what our patrons need. You can submit a purchase request here: https://lib.ku.edu/purchaserequest
If you are faculty or staff, there is an option to select expedited purchasing (if possible) and you can also select your preferred pick-up location – or you can have the book delivered to you through campus mail via our TripSaver service.
Alternately, if you only need the book for a short time, you could also request a copy through our interlibrary loan service instead. It typically takes around a week for a physical book to arrive, so this is often a faster option than a purchase request: https://lib.ku.edu/services/request/interlibrary
