Can the public use the library?

Computers for the public?

Answer

Yes, the public does have access to a number of KU Library services.

The public can also browse our stacks and borrow books with a Borrower Card. Interlibrary loan is not available to those with a borrower's card. https://lib.ku.edu/policies/borrower-card-handout

In both the Watson and Anschutz locations, we have community access computers available for use. On these computers, anyone can access the databases the library subscribes to. https://lib.ku.edu/community-access-workstations Individuals can also print from these computers, but they have to pay a small fee at the circulation desk.
